PlanetOut Brunch, Presented by Scion, to Serve Up Surprises at Sundance

Premiere LGBT Entertainment and Networking Event in the Heart of Sundance to Reveal 7th Annual PlanetOut Short Movie Awards Winners

The new PlanetOut Brunch, presented by Scion, and also sponsored by The Advocate, IndieWire and the Miami ___ & Lesbian Film Festival (MGLFF), will take place Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006 (between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) at Cisero's on Main Street, located in the heart of Park City, Utah.

Taking center stage are the 7th Annual PlanetOut Short Movie Awards (POSMA), where juried winners will be announced and the grand-prize winner will be screened. The largest online awards honoring film and video shorts by, about and of interest to LGBT audiences, POSMA is an acclaimed international platform for top ___ and lesbian filmmakers. Shorts will be screened for the first time at the PlanetOut Brunch, and later at the MGLFF in April 2006.
