hey guys, when you sell a car in cali, you're required to obtain a smog cert, but what if the car doesnt run?

 

then you have to sell it as non op with a current non op certificate , and the new owner must do the same until they can get it to run and pass smog.

or you can sell it without any paperwork but that's much more of a hassle for the buyer
