Default Shipping my tC

Hey guys! I had a question. Im moving in a few days to the midwest and was thinking about the possibility of shipping my car there instead of driving it since I dont have my license here. Ive found a lot of companies online but they dont really give their rates without obtaining tons of personal information so I thought Id ask here. Does anybody have any idea of what it might cost to have my car transported to a state about 1700 miles away? Thanks!

It ain't gonna be cheap. I know that motorcycle shipping rates are outragous!
Here's and idea: If you have a close friend that you trust, pay his expenses to drive it out and ride with him. Then, pay for his flight back, you will come out alot cheaper.

I have towed my car myself before on a trailer rented from Uhaul and our dodge durango. Wasn't ideal but it worked out when the car wasn't mobile (this wasn't my xA.)

If you know someone with a truck and a towing setup rated to safely tow the weight of your car and the trailer, that might be cheaper. Would help if the person also knew how to drive a truck with trailer attached.

Where are you moving to in the midwest? I live in the midwest and would be willing to drive it back here for you if you fly/bus/moped/skateboard me out to where you live I am very trustworthy, a former Boy Scout and everything...and a pretty good driver if I say so myself.

What does not having your license out there have to do with it? You can still drive with the license you have...

I don't get it.

you can use your license in the entire u.s. and most most of western europe. shipping is expensive as hell. My sister had her car shipped from florida to texas and it cost around $2,000

A transport company i contacted wanted $525 for 837 miles for mine, so double that and add some miles. Id say your gonna spend about $1200 to $1400 easy.

Wow, I dont see how its that expensive. Shipping a Vehicle From Venice Italy to Norfolk Virginia was only $890. I dont see how they charge that much to ship in the US.
