shorten name

trying to shorten my user name,can anyone guide me?I fiqured out what to do if you forget password but can't find anything that addresses user name.THANKS!

You can't change your username guy. It's attached to that account. You'll have to make a new account with a new email address. You can't go changing usernames... that's your whole account's identity...
