signing paperwork for other people
My buddy in Europe saying friend's friend want to buy a classic Jag on eBay. And asking me to check the document out to make sure it is legit.
And i have to sign on his behalf. I would make few hundred out of it.
But i am not a car dealer, so i don't know much about document.
His friend say he and the seller will work out the shipping to Europe.
Have anyone here sign car paper work on other person's behalf?
I like to help the guy out, but what happen if the sell went bad?
Am I stuck a Jag that i can't afford?

thanks for the replies, I am not going to do it. It isn't worth the risk.
Come to really think of it, If that guy can afford a 60K car, He should be able to afford a plane ticket to NYC.
