okay, this is something we did on the msprotege.com forums... site cards you ask, some of you with other vehicles may know what i am about to explain.

OKay so I am sure you have seen a really sick scion out there and thought hrm... lemme leave them a note about the forums or leave them ur phone number so you can get in contact with them etc... we created site cards, a card were you tell about the forum and invite them to join and give your screenname so they can contact you.. this is alot safer than giving your phone number or personal info.

okay I am sure their are alot of good photoshop people out their that could make something the size of a business card for the xB xA tC or a general Scion site card. that we all could print out and have on hand for times like these. maybe leave a blank like to put your username so they can contact you etc...

lets see what we can pull together maybe we can get an official site card(s) that everyone can use.

so lets see what you can come up with.

 

Bump... I posted at midnight maybe someone during the day time will see and respond. I am working on re-installing my software so I can make an attempt at creating some... surely someone else sees my vision and could come up with something as well.

 

I think it's a cool idea. I know there's a couple of tC's in my apartment building that are mildly modded and they aren't on the forum here

good finally a lil bit of feedback much appreciated guys lets keep this at the top of a list until a mod can sticky it, hopefully we have some avid psp or photoshop people that cant whip something together if not im working on the install for paintshop pro x and i'll see wut i can throw together. but i just want something simple bout the size of a business card that u could put under the whiper blade or on the window edge.

The blank is were you would put your scionlife.com userame so they can contact, you reason i left it a blank it looks more personal to be written in pen.

anyways let me know wut you think, My printer is out of ink so i was only able to print it in greyscale but it still was clean enuf to read and make out the scionlife.COM

feel free to jum off my idea or edit it however you wish.
lets see what you all can come up with. if your not good at this kinda thing just throw our ideas out there and i'll see what i can do. I know there has to be someone way better at this kinda stuff than me.

p.s. I know they look big on the page, but with my paint program they are 3.5 inches by 2 and they print just about the rigt size of a business card. not sure how they will print from the site. guess we will find out.

edit: LOL, ya i printed from the site and they print the size of postcards, still not to bad u could get probably two on a page, but i think a business card size would be better,lemme see if i can edit the size to were it will print from the size at business card size.

 

I just leave a ScionLife sticker under their wiper.

 

i would too, but i dont even have scionlife pictures for my own car....

hey darren, did i ever tell you i *love* those silver scionlife stickers? ;)

as for the business card, i think something like a group shot of all three models as the background, and then Scionlife.com centered at the top in larger-ish lettering, and then somewhere at the bottom have something like "a web forum for scion xA, xB, and tC owners and enthusiasts". the color of the font would coincide with the picture used. aka a night shot or something would have white lettering or a daytime picture would have dark lettering or something.

then on the back have something like-
Your car has been spotted by- and then have a blank space to put a username.

did a little revamping... i like them and the ones above are more postcard size... but anyways surely someone can do better than me lets see what else we can come up with then we can vote on it.

i had a friend that would go into a place and ask who drove the car outside until he was able to talk to them... instead of waiting that 8 hr shift.

 

i'm liking this one...
move the tagged by bit to the right side of the card instead of being centered horizontally. that will give you room to bring the scionlife emblem up a bit and put the .com bit underneith it.

 

interesting idea, i will do that once i am done burning and watching these movies from the dvd redbox rental machine.

check that out you can make ur own business cards, u get 250 for free and u just have to pay shipping and handling came out to $5.29 not bad.

I made my own site card using that. but it wouldn't let me put a logo or anything on there.

It's tough to read "You have been tagged by:" with the wheel reflections, and the tops of the letters at the top are cut off.

 

the part at the top is part of the image off the site i can't really fix that... as far as the reflections that why i did them in bold i'll mess with it some more maybe i can come up wtih a better idea... but surely there are some photoshop people out there that can do a much much better job i am an apprentice at this sorta thing... so i'm doing what i can yanno.

 

you could always just put the "youve been tagged by" bit to the reverse side of hte card...

 

this is true, great idea neothin, but if ur printing it from ur house it could be a bit of a chore to get it to line up right. i can make the back but like i said it'd be up to you guys to get it to print on both sides... if u want me to do that back just lemme know it'll take all of 5 seconds
