SL Bowlers! Where are you?
Any SLers bowl? Like, actually bowl in leagues, tournaments, etc..
After about a 7 year break, I took bowling last semester just to kill time and to have as a GPA booster. Now, I'm just starting to really get back into it .
I made it to junior nationals and bowled in Vegas in 2000. Made a few scholarship bucks in those days.. Also bowled in the Junior Bowlers Tour for a couple of years.
So, bowlers.. Where you at?!

So are you getting scholarships from fencing, or straight cash prizes? I'm over 21 now so I could actually bowl for money now. Before, if I bowled in any even that gave out cash vs scholarships I would've lost all my previous earnings.
in fencing, the money is in world cups, USA doesnt give out crap. colleges and universities have scholarships, but only if you are in the top 50 or so and know the coach.
i coach fencing now, and still do the occasional NAC (north american cup) but my students are getting good and i like to be there to coach them, not fence them haha.

we have a team starting up here at work. mainly an excuse to get drunk on tuesday nights, but fun none the less... and by far one of my favorite sports, because it requires nearly no physical activity

Haha. I just started my first USBC league last week. It's my first adult league, too. At the end of the season we get to go to Laughlin for a weekend about $50 each. But I'm not sure if I'm going..
used to bowl for my high school team back in like '02. yeah, we went to state, lol. i think we took like 17th place or something, but man was it fun. id like to get back into it, i had like a 175 avg back then, but havent bowled sober since.
