So has anybody experienced hostility from another driver?
Does anybody else other than I notice a certain tension and animosity when another driver of the same car as you happen to pass by each other? It's very subliminal; only a tiny bit of hostility.
OK so I'm driving on a local road and I see in my rear-view mirror that another tC is tailgating me. At first I was driving kind of slow; 39 in a 40 limit. However, I didn't think it would warrant this driver to continue tailgating me even when I switched lanes. So I'm kind of ____ed now but I didn't want to add fuel to his/her flame so I decide to go out of my way and make an oblivious right turn onto a tiny street. As I'm turning, this guy/girl HITS THE GAS AND ALMOST KNICKS MY BUMPER! I look in my rear-view mirror only to see him slowing down as he's passing me. What an a-hole!
So has anybody else run into a similar type of situation? I was really going to put this into the "What ____es you off" thread but I see it as envy from the other driver, which in turn makes me happy to see another person actually jealous of my car

Hostility?
I live in LA - I see it almost daily.
It took me years to not push back on these idiots -I grew up back east, and we'd pull over and settle thins without guns and knives, but my wife got so ____ed at me when I'd en gage these fools and eventually, she convinced me it was only a matter of time until I got shot, so I've stopped.
Society has become way more angry in recent years. Driving sucks most of the time in this city.

I have experienced this from another driver driving a blue 06' tc. We were at a light and i was admiring the car (he had an aero kit that looked really nice) and i said to my friend "I want a kit just like that." The guy in the blue tc noticed me and looked at me like he was gonna kill me for looking at his car. I was like "damn!" When the light turn green he stepped on the gas and cut me off!! i had no idea what to make of it... I think people just hate me.
i'm a postwhore.on topic: I'm in a fairly small town where there's a good sense of community, you can almost wave to a random person and they'll wave back (probably thinking...do I know this fellow?)
