Look at the Buy it Now price.

I thought I'd share this in the tC lounge since I know the SI is pretty popular here.

Aside from the stupid price, it does look good. I would lose the ridiculous wing though.

The most I'd pay for that Honda is MSRP, not a penny more.

There is already a mark up on the regular SIs so I think you'll have better luck of buying a 2009 RWD Corolla than getting a Mugen SI for MSRP with NO mark ups.

I'm actually thinking of a Civic SI 4dr. I wanted a Corolla XRS before but it was an under performing rip off at $19,500. The SI urinates all over the Corolla XRS. I'd pay $21,110 for the SI (which is what Honda starts them off at). I just have to wait about 8 months more with my loan so that I'll break even when trade in comes. I'd hate to owe from a previous car and to be put on top of the new car.

I retract my previous statement. No increase in performance yet they want an additional $8,000?

That is a real mugen si. theres only 1000 made this year. they also just hit dealers 3 weeks ago. asking price is 30k, and obviously the othe 8k is dealer markup.

The mugen comes with the full mugen wheels, suspension, exhaust, short shifter, shift ****, lip kit, and also becuase theres only 1000 made. Your buying limited production of a car that will hold its value better than a tC.

I don't like the 4-door civic. They did a good job with the 2-door though.

I don't care if I kept a big wet kiss from Dr. Mugen himself, I'm not paying over $30,000 for a Civic.

It ought to, it costs nearly twice as much.
