Default the stereotype game *let the prejudicial injustice begin*

well, in my defence, stereotypes exist because there are a vast majority of a certain ethnic background that seem to represent that type of action or behavior. i'm not trying to be racist, but more like, a humanitarian.

so, some of some typical stereotypes would be:

1) blacks are bad people. Not true. def. not true, but did you know that about 70% of all jail facilities are occupied by black people? now, is this racial profiling, or just a sheer fact of evident truth that there are a lot of black people commiting crimes and getting caught?

2) irish people are drunken bastards always wanting to get into fights. Not true.

3) if you are asian, you must be chinese. Not true. there are so many different ethnities in East Asia alone.

4) everyone in america is fat. i can't agree more.

My common stereotyping isn't really ever about race.

1. I think that all people that don't capitalize are lazy.

2. I also think every person that abbreviates the word definitely, definitely does not know how to spell that word.

Oh, I need a spanking.

I think the old saying goes" Sure we can, as long as you do things my way" LOL

My stereotypes are:

1)If you're going to be spending my tax dollars and not work, I should be able to tell you how to spend my money!

2)People who say they need a spanking, REALLY NEED A SPANKING lol

3)Your srt-4 is fast, but it's still a NEON

I go to rutgers which is all asian and muslim and some jews but I could care less about all that crap cuz to me a person is a person...

I have a question... Does anyone else think that by pointing out that someone is "the first African-American to do this" or the "first Asian to do this" that we are promoting racism? Did they really have to point out that the two coaches in the Super Bowl were the first African-American coaches to make it there? To me they were just two coaches, just like every other coach out there. By pointing out the difference, I believe we promote racism, just my opinion.

^ my point exactly. everything boils down to color. like chapelle said, just because of the way your colored, already by default puts you in a better position.

nah i dont think we are promoting racism, but it will take abother generation or two before it becomes accepted in the US. I mean down south (lol heres a sterotype, but its pretty damn true) they hate blacks and immigrants. However when you're are around such a cultural place like new jersey or new york you dont see color or anything like that. We're too damn busy with our school and work and everything. I think racism is really starting to dissapear. I know it will take a while but it will slowly go away. I mean the civil rights movement and the womens rights things happened before my time, so although older people might feel somethings about them, I really wasnt brought up thinking anything like that. As kids we dont see anything bad, its mostly all brought into our lives by the adults around us..

Racism is a worldwide problem. I spend 2 years in the Dominican Republic where I witnessed it first hand. Domicans hate Haitians and black skin. I was offered money on a number of occassions to have sex with a "darker" girl so that she could have a white baby. The whiter the skin down there, the better people treat you. It's not just a problem in the States.

1.) Most blacks can not swim
2.) hispanics have horrible taste is cars and modifying them
3.) asian people are good in math and computers
4.) black people love to j-walk and scare the crap out of me because I almost hit them...(that one as u can see is personal)
5.) most high school girls are the worst drivers out there.

I can go all day
...and for those who hate stereotypes should know that most of them come from some ounce of truth. though on the flip side, going around and throwing strereotypes out everytime you can makes you sound like an idiot.

No.

You know, as a white person, I have tons of people throughout history that could be my role model, that could be on my money, that was my president, so on and so forth. Santa was white and he didn't ever have to search hard to find the doll that was my color, many people in my town were white (in fact, I remember seeing my first black person). I could probably go on and on.

To outright ignore that this was the first time a black coach won the Super Bowl would be like robbing people of a historic event. We have tons of "First man to..." that, for the most part, aren't representatives of any race but white. Highlighting the fact also shows "Joe Racist" down in some southern state that the rest of the world doesn't care for his way of thinking and we don't keep minorities from doing such things like coaching a football team.

I am from the South. I don't hate blacks, nor do I hate immigrants as long as either of them are contributing positively to society. I don't think any person no matter what their race or creed is should be allowed to stay on government funding just because they can reproduce. This requires no special skill. Most perople can have children. If they are going to continue to do that they should make prostitution legal. In the long run that's what the government is paying for. I have many friends from different backgrounds. I have blacks, hispanics, and whites in my family. I am just asking for Americans as a whole to contribute positively to society.
