Can't say I don't like the place either. Been up there a couple of times and had nothing but good things to say about it. The people were always nice to me........guess I look native...... ;)

At Sumas border crossing a year ago. I must have looked bad that day because the Canadian customs picked my Moto Guzzi (a Italian motorcycle for you none biker people) and me apart for two hours. After thirty or more crossings I guess it was my time to be searched. Thank God I didn't hear the snap of latex!

I love B.C. Canada's breathtaking scenery, towering mountains with ice blue glaciers atop feeding waterfalls dropping thousands of feet and the people are the best Ay! They always treat me like a long lost family member.

East Canada you get in to the French now that is different. Many won't even talk to you if you don't speak French till you get to New Brunswick and what they call the Maritimes.

I guess knowing "eh" isnt good enough for them! They want you to know how to say "about" in their language!

:-( im in a poopy mood now! Thanks alot Vancouver BC!

I don't think anyone has to worry about any banning here for talking about Canada.

And honestly... if South Park can make fun of Canada, I'm going to make fun of Canada (that's what my first post was from, for those of you who don't know).

I rip the place, but I should say some nice things too. Canada is a really beautiful place. If you like nature and scenery, Cananda is great. Also Toronto is, in my opinion, one of the greatest cities in the world. You don't get attitude in Toronto for being from anywhere, because it's truly a city where thousands of cultures come together and manage to mix very well (unlike Los Angeles).
Also, for anybody who is really into music--the average record store in almost any part of Canada will carry so much more and varied kinds of music...They seem to like music for music, and not for who Mtv says is god for the next 5 minutes, or who was the last to have eminem talk about them in a song.

There...in all fairness, I said some ugly things about Canada- now I've said nice.

Im a Vancouver native. I lived there for almost 10 years. Its a beautiful place. I wouldnt want to move back there but would love to visit yearly. One of the best things to do there is skiing up at Whistler. I would recommend anyone to going there.

I've been to Victoria before and loved it. Quaint town - nice folks- spent a week there. Good bars - good food. Hell I even got dissed by some chick at a bar (wouldn't dance with me ) only to find out she was a lesbian and was there with her girl friend and then on the same night one of the local hookers thought I was a "Cop"
and wouldn't even talk to me Man rough night with the ladies Thats ok tho - she wasn't all that in the looks department -- wouldn't have wasted my money. Did some site seeing and alot of relaxing. Would love to go back someday.
