The Giants showed up to the game ready for blood...end of story. Their defense dismantaled Brady and the offensive line. 5 sacks, 12 knockdowns on brady is dam impressive. The patriots didnt lose this game, the Giants won hands down. Both teams played good, the Giants just played a bit better. And Dave, that was plaxico burress that got the game winning TD...it was setup by that sick pass to Boss, then Eli escaping that sack and throwing that bomb to Tyree which was a carreer highlight catch for him.
BINGO!
Giants kicked the pretty boy's ****!
The defense was insane, and Eli was even calmer than Brady.
End of story - one of the best SuperBowls EVER.

bad coaching for sure...4th and 13 on the 31 and you go for it? and yes, an Eli vs Peyton superbowl would be awesome...but Pats need redemption next year first

Agreed!

A defensive show, no doubt, but one of the top 4 SB ever!

What about the Pats coach leaving the field with 1 sec. left on the clock? What a horrible coach with no respect at all.

Well, showed a lack of class to me - to the fans, but mostly to the team.
What a di¢k.
Never liked that guy.
I actually ended up feeling bad for Randy Moss of all people - he has turned himself around, and busted his hump this year.
Oh well...

that was actually the right call by the pats offensive coordinators due to field position...too far for a field goal and too short to punt, plus the giants picked the ball up on there what...30yrd line? As a Giants fan, that was a great call by bellicheck I hafta say...it was a risk worth taking for them at that point in the game. Do you guys actually follow football?

I would start by getting a younger def and a coach that doesn't make it look like he is only there for the paycheck. With spygate over His complete lack of respect for the game at the end was pitiful. The way the game unfolded was a great spectacle and i can't wait to see what both teams do in the off season but I think New England has a lot to do with the defense before I give them a shot next year and they'lll need to resign moss to start

Having been a Pats fan for 30 years (my families from back East) and as a fan of fottball, I say he should be fired for that. He has been exhibiting behavior like that all season.

New England teams (Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Pats) are famous for not tolerating this sort of behavior from their players no matter how talented they are, and I dont believe they should tolerate it from a coach either.

Thus, Belichick became the first Super Bowl coach to abandon his team before the last play. Why, even notorious game-abandoner Randy Moss was there in his Patriots uniform for the bitter finish. When asked why he had not stayed around, Belichick mustered his usual stone face, and said: "We did. They won the game."

Disgusting.

Its called a pooch punt and with that much time to go with a game that close why wouldn't you want to pin them inside the 10 instead all he did as a coach was tell the team he has no confidence in the special teams

Gonna be a tough sale to most fans who would rather look at how the team finished than to the type of man he is the players love him face it he is the Isiah Thomas of the football world but since the team wins they all overlook it

if it was more like 4th and 3 then yeah go for it but not 13. a 48 yard field goal is not unrealistic. 3 points is huge in a tight game. wrong call.

it was a bad call. you are in a dome with no wind. i think the guy missed a 48yarder this year but that was outside.

The kicker was hitting them from beyond 50 yards consistently in warm ups. I think it was a bad call. If they miss the field goal the giants get the ball on the 37 instead of the 30 not a big deal. The only reason I wanted the Pats to win is to shut up all the talk about the 72 dolphins. I’m sick of listening to Mercury Morris’ mouth.
