so i filed and got my taxes back feb 4 which was my bday and a couple of weeks later i got a letter in the mail stating there was a error and they owe me 905.00 and there will be a check mailed within 6 weeks my taxes where direct deposit into my account and my brother got the same thing about the error on the I-9 form but i have not gotten anything and Im wondering if this is true or a fake that the change was already made

can you post a pic of it editing out all your important info

 

I can try its from the IRS... And when i call i have to enter my refund about and it transfer me but everytime i call they are closed... FTL

 

its a scam, i prepare taxes and the irs has a lready sent a warning letter to us

im not they say i am getting a check within 6 weeks it has my ssn and a control number on it.

 

so you got a scam letter with your ssn and control number on it? wow, i hope this all turns out ok.

 

it came from the deparment of treasury it looks legit i guess i made a error on my I-9 form
