he wanted me to give them like $100. i said i dont want to. and he started telling me how i have no life and i fill things out online... i was like yeah ok sure. thanx.

thats one way they can get your money. just be rude... lol...

does anyone actually pay them for there "services"?

 

There have been a bunch of calls from these people lately. It's pretty much a "scam" in the sense that you shouldn't have to pay for their "services."

 

he said $10,000 co op semi pro sponsorship. makes it sounds all fancy.

 

Ya... that usually means $10k worth of stuff, but you front like 30-40% of the cost. You also usually have to attend a certain number of shows or events per year and provide proof... if you don't - some of these outfits and just up and take your car.

So if ANYONE decides to sign with these people, read EVERY DETAIL. Know what you're getting yourself into, or you might not have a car.

 

they can just take your car? he said i just have to go to 3 shows in the next 12 months. take a picture of my car there at 2-3 of the shows. i dont have to enter/submit myself. just show that i was there. and i have to have 2 of the vinyls on my car. he said they were only 2 inches. it sounds like i join a discount club more than a sponsorship. i know one of the guys on here signed with carsponsorships.com. i kind of chuckled.

 

they called me too, and I said, that I was doing better without them or their services. Plus I save the $100
