You could always try The Ramones, Amy Winehouse, Jaime Cullum...I know they aren't techno, but hell, you're listening to techno and could use a little range and venture into music.

This where everything gets messed up when it comes to techno. You think techno sucks yet you think the 1980's song remixed in 15 minutes by some dude at his computer is amazing?

In order to find good electronic music you have to dig...dig WAY underground. Because the amount of good tracks and DJ's out there compared to the tons upon tons of just absolute SH*T, destroys everything. Even some of the more glorified DJ's like Paul van Dyk, and DJ Tiesto have put out classic stuff in the past.

This is guy is right…you have to look underground if you want to hear anything worthwhile….most mainstream is homogenized and pasteurized to be of little resemblance to real music, just inferior sounds packaged for easy mass consumption.

Its not techno per say, but if you are into techno, try this free streaming psytrance on for size:

the one CD that my ex gave me (not available to the mainstream public) leans towards dnb

I remembered he said breaks but to my ears its DnB
