that's as accurate as a blind man in a dart competition. there's no control in the test. that half of a mile extra could have been from almost anything.

one thing that did work for me... i bought a K&N air filter for my old carburated k1500. it went from 12mpg on the highway to 16mpg. the engine and tranny are rebuilt with about 2.5k on them.
