Sup guys/gals Im new to downloading torrents and I was wondering if there is a program that I need in order to view video_ts files? I just recently downloaded the movie 300 and not really sure what do to with the files in order to view it. Can anyone help me please? Thanks

 

The VLC Media player should be able to play anything. Look for it as a torrent, lol.

I don't know about that. But 3.33GB seems awfully big to put on one normal DVD. But again, I don't know much about that and will keep my eye on this thread to see what other people say.

Nope. But that is an awesome movie.

 

VLC can play anything including VIDEO_TS files, Id also suggest burnin it to a dvd or making it a ISO and use alchohol and a virtual dvd drive system to mount and watch.

a dvd can hold 4.7 gb asa advertised but like 4.5 gb really. youd ont need dvd shrink to shrink it. just burn it on there with a audio_ts folder and ull be good to go.

 

Open the file up using your preferred DVD player software.

You aren't really supposed to watch those files. you use them to burn a DVD with nero or other such software. Some things can watch them though. Windows media player will run it, but I forget if there are additional codecs required...
Torrentspy and thepiratebay are good. Azureus is one of the best programs for it. But you may not want to post things about movies you download... Say you wanted to download opensource software though and you're all good.

 

I was about to say the same thing. Be careful what you announce to the public. The RIAA and MPAA are always looking for a new butthole to climb into.
WMP 11 may play the video_ts, but it will require a codec download.

 

Torrentportal.com is my favorite. Be sure to sort by seeds and read the comments to make sure it's the right thing and it's good quality.
