It has destroyed all of its competition in theaters right now. Let's see if it can remain somewhat strong next week with the release of Harry Potter.

I just dont see why soo many of the movie reviews that ive seen gave the movie such bad scores?? Every person i've talked too that seen the movie thought it was awesome and would see it again if they could.

 

that's what I'm saying. I haven't heard one bad thing about it from people who have seen it...the critics suck.

 

The movie is sick. i was impressed with it. Spielberg did a awesome job. Damn when i saw bumble Bee . it was like traveling through time and become kid once again.

the critics are idiots. They dont like Michael bay so they hate the movie, Just read the negative reviews of the film on rotten tomatoes. They seem to bash bay rather than the film.

considering the people that actually like it are the people actually paying money to see it, some several times over. I think the critics have a stick up their bum. before I went to see it, I read the reviews after I picked up the tickets. I was bummed at the rotten ratings, so I wanted to see how bad it was. Instead, it turned out to be one of the best sci fi action flicks ever made. It wont take long for word of mouth to surpass bad press, and people realize its a good action movie. Everyone I know liked the film. I have yet to meet anyone that has seen it state any dissapointments. it pretty much delivered.

IMDB, viewer rating aside...most forum jerks there hate the film. When I last checked it was rated an 8.4 and in the top 250, but the forum seemed to hate it...then again, IMDB is filled with wannabe movie critics that hate everything that critics hate.

 

forreal! Outcasts (yes, I'm calling them outcasts because half of them are) today have nothing to do than sit on their ___ criticizing something just for the hell of it. Criticizing the movie just because Michael Bay directed it is dumb. They need to grow up. It makes me annoyed, yet very sad for their "life." lol. [/rant]

Yeah, I dont know why critics "hate" Bay soo much, here are some numbers I just read from some of his top movies:

#1 "Armageddon" ($201.6 million)
#2 "Pearl Harbor" ($198.5 million)
#3 "Transformers" ($152.5 million)
#4 "Bad Boys II" ($138.5 million)
#5 "The Rock" ($134 million)

All of those movies were actually pretty good, and you can only assume that Transformers will surpass Armageddon. I was reading a critic in one of my hometown newspapers and one of the things she said was, near the end it was "too loud" which made me laugh....I guess critics dont like to see big explosions, and lots of action, but the general public does.
