if you ever get your rims painted, save the painter alot of trouble and take the wax OFF before you give it to them or at least tell them you had wax on it haha.

hte paint kept ripping off, even to the last wheel, see the one with the tape still on it?

when i took the tape off, the black came off with it because the paint didn't grip the wheel. weirddd ____. ive painted my fair share of stuff. (graffiti head) and i've never had that happen before, till now. but its cool now. if you dont like it phil, ill fix it up until you do =D

Black and Red are Time Attack colors. He is re-creating the often seen Time Attack wheel setups, for cheaper, because he just painted his stockers like that.

 

Yeah, I will see tonight how it looks, and I'll try to make the meet this saturday for all to see.
I figured the dark color would match the dark color of my car (lot's of peeps think it's black cause they only see it at night) and the red would match my breaks.

I actually got the idea of painting the stocks like that from seeing pics of BlkTC's car, and with his blessing, I had AEN paint them for me, as he did Allisons as well in bronze.
But yeah, they are Time Attack style!

And I got the idea to keep the stocks after seeing how hot Travis' car looks all done up but still with stock rims.
Oh, and I dont' give a $hit about garabaldy in my thread...i was just giving you a hard time. He's helped me out a lot as well. And whatever keep my thread at the top of the FI section is fine with me!

I'm glad to hear the update for you kit, Matt, so are we shooting for next weekend?

Well, Chris and Mark need to get tuned first, mark might waight till after he get's an IC. Matt still needs to be installed, which should be soon, and I was going to track it the other week, but my clutch is really starting to go, so I'm saving up for that. Hopefully by then, I'll have it retuned for 300-350whp.

Speaking of witch Joe from Dezod got back to me and is willing to help us out with the tune, but he has a few questions for us first. So, matt, Chris, if we all meet this saturday, I can get those questions answered for Joe and then we cna think about getting a trip together. How does that sound?

I still have one more local guy to call and see about a tune, but I've been swamped at work today.

 

Oh, and what aen was saying about the wax...that was ALL Brians' fault! he had some guy washing his car, and didn't know what he used, but when i sold him my 18x8.5 rims, he gave me his, and 2 were curbed bad, as were 2 of mine. so of the 4 I have Hieu, 2 were Brians and waxed like hell, which I didn't know, but it made his job much harder.
He was all done with them, and a little bump and the paint came right off! Good wax...but bad for Hieu and I

 

#1 With the injection running washer fluid.
#2 Phantim grip is just ok, the traction between the two tires has to be comparable or just one tire spins. seems to help on the launch.
#3 Yes 14 psi on stock block for three months.
#4 The highest octane here is 91 but with the water/methanol injection maybe around 100-104. I have the variable kit so it starts at 5 psi (10%) then ramps up to 14 psi (100%).

 

dude i never really thought about racing each other. i always think about racing other cars. but who would win? zpi stage zero intercooled or TT stage 1 both tuned by the same tuner? haha. the next few months are gonna be so fun...

I didn't even consider that he might have meant when are we racing each other!
I just figured he wanted to know when we were going to the track to get times, not to race each other!
HOWEVER, chris with the stage 0 will be at lower boost and better tires, so he'll get better traction. But you and I wll have more power, so as long as we can get out of first, we should win.
Also, our kits are almost identicle, but I have the AEM and you have the Greddy, so that MIGHT make a difference. What WILL make a difference is that you will be on the stock 8psi spring and I have the boost controller so I COULD push 11psi

 

haha bastard! so pretty much you have the better advantage? haha. itll be fun none the less. imagine what the spectators will say when they see 3 turbo scions going down the 1/4 mile. haha
