Yo phil.. Yeah I feel its humid as he'll here right now.. My cars eu ning rougher in the day and smooth in the cool nights!

 

So yea, I wen to get my car from PTuning today and there were a few minor things we did and checked, got it running awesome and now guess what........There is a rod knocking. I spent over 7k on this motor(and tune) only to have a rod knocking with under 50 miles on it after being built. And they are aftermarket rods and pistons. Guess my car is going back to the shop that built my motor to see whats going on. The shop that built the motor is more than likely to blame here due to them already making a few mistakes with the car. I'm begining to get tired of all this crap with my car.

 

wats rod knocking? my computer has pinging noises.

 

who built your motor? ptuning? they should take care of your car though

Yeah...flew into AZ this morning and met todd, drove my car all the way back...made great time! Running SUPERB! Almsot like s stock boosted car...passing on teh freeway was scary easy! But I have a CEL now gotta see what that is this week sometime....oh, and no new parts on my car either...

 

...oh, and my AIT gaugepod is now warped to all heck...was perfect when I left it, not the corner is pulling up bad...looks horrible...

no...aen said he's working on an in dash pod...but I'd have to do something about the hole in my dash...

That CEL is probably due to the O2 sensor being disconnected to allow the f/ic to take over sooner....unless thats not necessary with the f/ic, it was with the e-manage.

So the cars running good huh? thats cool that they got everything figured out with it! what the dyno look like?

Hopefully my car gets tuned soon...dont have much time to enjoy it...i ship out the 30th of july and wont see my car for about 10 months.

But anywho, congrats Phil on getting the car back better than ever!

 

yeah...do not need to disconnect the 02 for the f/ic cause of the spoofer...which is one of the main reasons I went with the f/ic...so I could pass smog. Haven't got it checked yet.

todd still needs to send me the dyno sheet, but yeah...it runs perfect!

What mesurements do you need, aen?

 

I may end up getting new dyno numbers from a local dynojet anyway...
