still waiting on word from grd about my boost controller, they said it shipped but havnt given me a tracking number.

 

hope you get it soon.. you ordred it like two weeks ago huh...

i started calling them since yesterday about a tracking number and the same today they tell me they will email it to me. well see

java you still get boost spikes? it weird mine goes consistent 6 psi then as the rpm goes around 5K it jumps to 8psi till 6600 rpms, and that with my WG spring of 5.9 psi.. you think i need to upgrade to a 44mm WG?

 

ace i thought you wher tuned for 9psi.........did you turn down your pressure

 

mine was tuned up to 10 on the top end but I turned off the boost controller so I will start retuning at 6 psi then turn it up till 10

 

no boost spikes anymore.

hey, I might be getting the mishimoto radiator...you think I'll have any fitment issues? How much you think it will help?

 

^^ it will help a lot, i will have mine installed prolly by monday.. if you have about an 2 inches clearance you should be good

 

2 inch clearance where? between the back of the stock radiator and the closest thing to it in the engine bay? That being my turbo outlet?

what do you all think?

 

phil it looks like it would fit if you wer to turn your clamps the other way but its still a little too close for comforte if you ask me. im afraid youd punch a hole in your radiater with your outlet pipe.

 

if you look at your end tanks on your stock radiator thats the thickness of the mishimoto core.

 

yup crush is right, the thickness of the core is just about same as the end tank.. and the closest part is your clamps.. it would fit man the clearance on mine is just a lil bigger than yours, im sure you can clock the turbo a lil or just rotate the clamps if your concerned it will rub when the motor moves

 

I can't clock the turbo at all...you can see that the outlet pipe is actually touching my downpipe.

I think if I turn my clamps around, it will fit fine, and the engine wont' rock to bad cause of my motor mounts...I think this will be a good test for the mishimoto on larger turbo kits.

...it's not like I'm paying for it anyway...
