if the maf sensor doesnt fit you need a maf adapter.. if the hose keeps burning wrap it in some high temp heat wrap and try and adjust the fitment as best you can!

I had gotten a flang but i am getting the run around from people on if it will work or not.

if you have an 07 and your MAF doesn't fit then buy the adapter from dezod, as for your radiator hose switch it back to the OEM and see if that one clears the manifold.

Well there could be a couple different reasons why the MAF sensor wont fit correctly. Depends on the year of aftermarket intake you've got for the model year of car. I have an Injen CAI that I had on my 06 tC.... well for 08 the dumb bunnies at Toyota thought it would be a hoot to changed the diameter of that part. And well since Injen CAI's as with others, aren't exactly cheap. So I'm getting a part from my local Toyota dealer and then hardwiring a completely new MAF sensor in its place. I've done 99% of all my own mods and installs... including electronics... have for years. So Im doing my own...but if this is the case for yours.... have your local dealer do it or it can potentially fry the main harness.

I have no idea what kind of intake it is, it just came with my turbo kit..... but i found the MAF adapter Java was talking about, so I might try that.

Hey.... what kind of adapter does Paul sell for the MAF? just curious. Does it adapt it for a different model year's diameter?

The OEM is the one that burnt through, and no matter what you do, there is no clearing the manifold. It directly touches.

Ah I see... yours was due to a location issue. What turbo kit are you running that has the sensor that close to the manifold?

no no its not the sensor thats close to the manifold lol its the radiator hose, the hose and the manifold touch in one spot, its the zpi kit but the manifold is a customer tubular manifold from tt.

Ah Ok sorry my bad.... that clears up a lot. Without a pic it would be hard to give advice, but flying blind here, you might try finding a longer hose and re-routing it away from the manifold. But whatever you do.... do NOT wrap any portion of your manifold with the heat wrap. I've built cars for many years.... does heat wrap work? yes it does...however here's the fine print...it will seriously shorten the life span of an exhaust manifold. Yes pro racers use them, but they generally have a much bigger piggy bank to dip into. They replace the whole headers every couple of races. just an FYI.
