Turbo Toyotas: Vegas Style! Pics and --NEW-- Dyno inside!
Hieu...still no CEL? I think you should reset your ECU and try the old maps again. Everythings gonna run a little leaner since it's colder out.
Oh, and Ira's the ****!
I love my thread again!
Oh, and Ira's the ****!

now im waiting on a new intake pipe because it was wrong. oh well im still waiting on my bov, filter for intake, 2 slim fans, gold foil, hardware, harness for e-manage and a few other random things. hopefully it all arrives this week so i can install before christmas!! haha
you mean wrong intake pipe was shipped? me too hoping to install before xmas.. thats if everything wll be here and i wont get too busy, then its gonna be turbotoyotas xmas FTW lol
yeah i have the wrong one. todd texted me and told me that hes already in the process of getting a new one. it doesnt really matter because im waiting on missing parts and my harness anyway.
i got a question. i noticed that phil has his vaccum block with three fittings. wastegate wasgate bov in that order, where is he running his tru boost and is it not ok to run it to the vaccum block too? thanks!
i asked him hte same thing lol.
but it's ok to run all the vac lines to the block personally, i ran mine in according to relation.
such as, wastegate + bOV
boost gauge + F'IC load sensor
yadda yadda yadda.

idk when todd gonna send the correct one
aen...so you read the CEL code and it says it's for the cat? Cause when I run the C map, I get not CEL at all. And if you have any CEL at all, it's not gonna run perfect cause it's forced into open loop.
but I got some CELs now to, like fouled plugs and whatnot. Mine is on constant unless i use the other map, then it never comes on.
java...if you have the black block with 5 fittings, you can run everything there. Mine only has 3 fittings so I have my BOV, Wastegate and Boost gauge running to it. The boost controller portion of the Tru Boost connects to the other (top) port on my wastegate. You need that top port on your WG connected DIRECTLY to your boost controller, not though a vacuum block.
Then I have the pressure sensor on my AEM F/IC connected somewher eelse.
AEN...did you get yoru oil leek fixed completey? Mine is still leaking cause I think I didn't get all the old oil off when I applied my sealant. What did you use to get rid of the oil?

It's been a minute since I checked this thread. From the last few post, it seems as if you guys have not progressed since the last time I checked (only read this page). So, Meaty....a summarization if you don't mind.
Anyone able to make it to the track before season end?
Anyone able to make it to the track before season end?
Thanks! And you are correct! This thread is STILL useless and STILL not locked!
Actually, I think a couple pages back we had 2 posts with some information!
Anyway...Season ends? Track season does not close here, but NONE of us have made it out
I wanna go, but I'm the only tuned one, and not a great tune, but it will get me past a quarter mile. I think everyone else is just afraid cause their running bigger turbos or higher boost and they all think they are better then me, but they don't wanna prove it!
So, short answer, NO. And I'm really upset about that.
C'Mon guys! Let's just take it to the track! If we bog down and sputter, WHATEVER! It's not like out s!its gonan blow up or something! Wer'e all running rich, not lean!
