DIY FTW, I did mine overnight, slow and easy and it worked perfect the first time.. And oh I've never done any soldering my entire life lol.. Do it dude, its fun..

i dunno about your boost creep. I got an 8.7 spring as well, never used, if you think that would make a diffeance.

Damn, that sucks. I might try to do it my self but I'm pretty sure I'll screw something up. I'm better with motors. I dont do the delicate small stuff. Details about led swap? sure I dont mind, but im no pro on this but I can tell you how I did and some this and that, i think i have pics here too somewhere.. Also you can read that writeup from engifeneer about soldering, that led diagram from garage1271, also there was a write up from a guy named like panasonic or something lol-- haha and yeah its really scary the first time but once you've done it once you wont be afraid to do it again anytime.. pm if you need help, or we can continue threadjacking phil's thread

what kind of corvette was it and what is your psi?
i raced a C5 on a roll (about 70 or so) and it was no contest. i couldnt even tell if he was still racing.
im guessing your at 5 psi huh

 

i dont know what year it was.. ill ask chris he was racing too.. i was at 7 pounds. the vette was a newer year though.
