Default Unlock a car with a tennis ball.

I came across this today at Digg.com
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/410981...e_unlocks_car/
It's a video showing how you can use a tennis ball to unlock a car door.
I was skeptical that it would work on most cars, but someone commenting on the story said it worked with their '06 xA... my keyholes are plugged... anyone want to verify?

Oh, you might want to turn the sound down on the video, no narration and really bad music.

Wow... amazing but while watching it I though that it had something to with the air pressure created from the tennis ball before it showed the last clip. Kind of scary to think that it could be that easy to open a lock that way.

I think it would only work on cars with the lock mechanism over the key hole.

I know that BMW/ euro locks are very stiff, and it would be near impossible on those.

I bet it would work on older Corolla's. . .

Coat hangers work if you know what you're doing. . . or a slim jim. . .

But don't fret. . . most people who have the brains to break into cars don't, because they don't want to get caught.

Usually people who DO break into cars just do the smash and grab, as they don't know better.

if they really wanted to make the video fake all they have to do is push the button on the remote off camera when she pushes in, they already showed they have a remote for it. I think the girl looks pretty stupid myself.

yeah the more i think about it, the more it seems like a joke to see how many people WILL actually try it. I said i was gonna, but i don't have any extra tennis ***** just lying around, and i'm not gonna buy some for this trick that probably doesn't work

not possible, you still have to turn the lock after activating the tumblers inside the chamber

I don't believe that would work either. Still would like someone here to try it though.

HA HA HA Ok for the sake of SCIENCE I reached under the copy machine and got an old dusty worm eaten tennis ball with all the green junk falling off of it and drilled a 1/4 inch hole in it and pressed it against the lock . . . nothing as I expected. Yeah who would have thought that the moths would eat tennis *****!!! Ok as a second test in case the ball had too many air leaks . . . I put a short length of plastic hose on the end of a pump spray bottle and blew compressed air into the lock and guess what happened
