Default USPS lost my package!

Ok so i bought a scangauge II, last March 31 from 365motorwerks squeezing my last money for car budget.. it was processed same day. Priority shipping i've been expecting it around April 3-5 and waited all day, checking the mail 4-6 times a day.. then past april 5, no mail, no notice.. the seller gave me tracking and it showed attempted delivery april 5 at 12pm.. so not true.. Went to usps monday morning (4/7), they refused to look for it and they said it will be redelivered today (same day).. but no notice, no mail.. i went back tuesday 4/8 and they couldnt find it there.. left my number, name and address and they will call me, no call, they said they would have to talk to the driver.. it just sucks, its priority shipping i hope there's insurance on it but i dont know.. well just a rant and venting out..

The seller 365Motorwerks absolutely has no fault with the loss- just saying i dont want this thread to be negative for them, in fact i would still want to buy from them..

If it was not insured, can usps still take responsibilty for the loss? i printed the message shown in tracking which means i didnt receive and will need to pick it up, but they couldnt find it there.. but it proved they had the item in their position and lost it either misplaced or stole it (not from my mailbox) this suck major! what's better thing for me to do? advise?

people still trust the usps with stuff. heck i don't not when my home mail goes to 3 streets down and where i used to work (even though the building has been in that area for 65 years. they say it is not a real building and return the package to vendor.

so yeah i wouldn't trust the post office

i dont really, its coz its a free shipping courtesy so i cant complain, i just didnt think about insurance this time though as i usually.. i trust them with big items for the cheaper shipping but insurance will always be included when i ship.. it just sucks why our postal system is getting worst or without improvement

wow, glad to hear you got it. The carriers around here are dumb, they can't tell the difference between "F St." and "G St."
