Vectoring How To
I've been vectoring some pics of Scions and I've gotten a lot of requests for a write-up so here it is.

Select your image. I've picked the 5Axis tC. Feel free to resize it to however big you want if the picture itself is too small.

Now we will alter the picture to create "layers" of color. Go to:
Image > Adjustments > Posterize

Pick your number of layers. The more layers you have, the more complicated and detailed the final vectoring will be. I've picked 5 so you can see the shape and contours of the tC.

This is the pen tool. This is how you will create the shapes for your vector.

Use the eyedropper to copy the color on the picture. After copying the color, use the pentool to trace the shape of that color. It does not have to be precise. The rounder you make the shapes, the smoother the final image will look.
To use the pen tool, just click points on the image to create "anchors" and continue until you get the shape you desire.
IMPORTANT**
After completing the shape, click on the background layer in the "layers window" to ensure that the shape you just made will stay on top. After clicking on the background layer, continue to make the next shape. REMEMBER to click on the background layer after each shape you made, or you will mess up.

Here is what I have done so far with the background layer opacity turned down so that you can see the result.

Without the background layer.
Good luck vectoring! Feel free to leave comments or questions, and for anyone else who knows how to vector, add some input for better clarity and understanding.

^^Current Process. Check back to see how it turns out!
