Does anyone here have the ability to see if a car has been re-registered in the last couple years if I give the VIN?

Reason I ask is I sold my old civic on ebay back in late 2004, had them sign all the papers I found on the DOT website & mailed them in, but I swear I just saw it going down the street by my house. Same look, same 'clink' from the shifter and same sound of my old ZC motor.

Odd because I sold it after buying it back from the insurance company after it got totalled and the buyer said he bought it for parts.

I just want to make sure its been re-registered some time after late 2004 to make sure it's not racking up parking tickets in my name or worse!

i spotted my old car yesterday. I thought they would have junked it because it has over 100k miles (2000 Jetta) body kit, tails, exhaust, etc... Its weird seeing your car with someone else
