Default "Walk The Line"

Wife and I went and saw this last night while the boys watched Harry Potter.

This movie is so good. Much better than the disapponitment of Jarhead. People were actually applauding at the end of the movie.

I was very surprised at the wide variety of people that were there to see it too. A lot more young people, mainly girls. I guess Joaquin Phoenix is pretty popular with the young girls.

As they say, Phoenix and Witherspoon were born to play these roles.

It's a can't miss.

My old youth pastor was cousins with Johnny Cash. I never got to meet him but if I had, that would have made my day.

I saw it over the weekend too, I thought it was great.

I also thought it was cool that Phoenix and Witherspoon did their own singing in the movie. I could have sworn it was Johnny Cash singing, but when I listened to the originals later that night, it was differant, Phoenix's versions seemed even more intense than the originals, I think it had more to do with modern recording than the talent, but hats off to Phoenix for performing such a faithful portrayal of this legend.
