Maybe our pollution that is causing the global warming is the cause for deaths of these bees (j/k)
but really could this be the next big scare of the year like bird flu and such? I think that if one species starts to slack another will pick it up or atleast that's how nature usually fixes it.[/quote]

I heard about this about a month ago, and yes, at this moment it is a very sirious issue for several fields of science.
Personally, with farmers working the crops themselves across America, I'm only concearned with losing Honey...one of my personal favorite food items.
