Because the mice on the wheel in the motor of our tc's can only go so fast before they get tired and can't squeak out loud any more.
The Italian exotics use specially bred italian mice that are faster and stronger than many horses. A single Italian Engine Mouse (scientific name - rodentius ridiculous) , especially the high end ones, is actually usually stronger than 100 horses. Depending on the number of "cylinders", which are actually mouse wheels, housed in the engine, a team of Italian Engine Mice are capable of generating tremendous mousepower...er horsepower.
