Default What to do with a rabbit?

I found a rabbit in my front yard today my mom said hes been there for weeks so I guess he has been hiding. Any way since nobady has claimed him and he has been there for while I guess it would it be best for him to go to a shelter of some sort so he can get the proper care.

Problem is I don't know where to take him the humane society only takes cats and dogs. Any suggestions?

he is a domestic rabbit because he walks up to me and lets me pet him and im not going to eat him. Anything you can tame and keep in the house as a pet should not be eaten.

thanks for the link scionicman I found a place

Roast it then keep 1 of its feet for luck..
Were gonna have roast rabbit, Were gonna have roast rabbit, (its from a Bugs Bunny cartoon not to be taken literal)

My sister had 2 domestic rabbits 1 black and 1 white they humped each other constantly and were a job and a half to take care of.. Theyre a lot of work.. But they can be fun pets tho. Good luck if you keep it I know I would..

Oh btw becareful they bite I cant tell you how many times those f**kers bit me whenever I would try to feed them..

There are several great recipes online! Nothing better than harvesting your own food.

If you really want to hand it over to someone... give it away in a free posting on Criag's Llist

If Tampa isn't close enough look for a city closer to you on the list to the right.
