my pic's in my signature as a link, we had a hell of a time fitting the rims on but i had this benz/bmw/exotic car shop do it, the owners of the place bought two xb's, of which they hammers, grinded and squeezed in a set of 22's and 24's on them so i figured if anyone could mount my rims, it would be these guys (the xb's have since been sold) the shop was a pricy as hell, i admit that. But the car looks sick IMO, rides like crap, but the looks pple make when they see it!!! priceless
im having problems entering it into the scion life registery. every time i click to add to registery, it loggs me out *grr*

Wow.....I am shocked that the original origin of the term DUB hasnt been revealed here. So either I am way old or no one who has participated in this thread ever got down back in the day.
The term DUB does NOT refer to 20" rims or bigger. It refers to 20" ONLY. This term came about from a slang term for a certain amout of that green leafy Oooweee. Ever heard of a dub sac? As in not a dime but double a dime=dub. Of course double a dime is a 20 sac....so follow me here people 20 sac=dub....20"rim=DUB.

 

Yes. . . but words are tricky. Back in the day, the term "bathroom" meant a room in which there was a bath. But now when people ask about the "bathroom," they are more commonly referring to what is SUPPOSED to be called a restroom. I'm sure you're right as to the definition of dub, as it once was. . . but the hiddeous term as it is currently used refers to 20" or larger. . . because you know people who like DUB don't care about consistent grammer and vocabulary.

 

yes but bathrooms, or restrooms, are also tricky. In some countries there are more than one pot to poop in, and some stream warm jets of water up the *AHEM*. Plus most areas have more than one restroom, and it is only by luck that you enter the correct one... (he he he) and most people who have DUB just pee on the wall outside the club anyway.

 

So disco lights inside a scion with loud party music, a built bounce standing outside the passenger door and a handsfree urinal afixed to the trunk all the while sitting on 20" DUB's with hydrolics and a plasma TV somewhere? anytakers? j.k
