I love modding my Cingular 8125. Best part of it was the ability to overclock it. Stock was 180MHz now it's clocked @ 240MHz now. 2Gb MiniSD for my multimedia files. Gotta love the touchscreen feature as well.

It took a bit of seem/hex editing to get the V3i to function normally, since it's not for sale anywhere here in the US. I have it where I want it now, just need to get the courage to install the US English language pack...

On the subject of mods... Anyone know how to mod the sidekick2?

I have a couple of older Sanyo 4900's that are SMS, e-mail, and internet capable, and I have everything except the PHONE functions disabled. All I want them to do is behave like a phone, not a GameBoy, digital camera, TV set with a postage stamp size screen, video recorder, MP3 player or whatever the latest 'feature-of-the-week' is.

They have excellent sensitivity and excellent speakerphone function.

I do that 'other stuff' on dedicated hardware that does it better.

Audiovox SMT5600, phone that runs Windows Smartphone edition. Anything larger than a phone is too big.

Just downloaded the Siruis player for the phone. Very slick.

 

I dont think there is any phone ever made that has matched that lines reception and clarity. A 4700 was my first phone and until I dumped sprint a couple of months ago It was my back up phone

you forgot to add the Speaker phone capabilities. Bet thats why you have it mounted on the dash

 

I have a Treo 650, but I don't use any of the features, so I'm prolly going to downgrade soon.
