Default What other interests do you have besides SL?

Thought it would be interesting to see what other SL member's hobbies are besides modifying/customizing their rides. Please post up pics of your other interests, hobbies, collections, etc, or feel free to share a story.

Everyone's interests are welcome no matter what they are. That's what makes our community fun and keeps it going. Maybe it will even bring some people closer and help to get others involved in new things

I'm huge into guns of all varieties, shoot as often as I can. (Don't think I'm allowed to post pictures of that).

I ride bikes like it's a drug. (zx9r until i get my 10)

I drink alot.

Build amateur home theaters.

Collect toys like and typically break them being stupid.

I'm a little into photography.. but nothing serious as it's become as abused as a guitar at a college campus, for trying to impress women.

Last but not least, for my main hobby I read, write, and correct PHP scripts and do minor developing with one of my buddies. No we're not preparing the next facebook.. although we would if we could. (I can't take a picture of this that could hold any interest)

^ good stuff!

I like to shoot and have a few pistolas, but not into collecting guns...yet.

Fishing is addicting. I river fish and have caught 2 steelhead, lots of salmon and some trout. 08 will be my second year at it. I am also a volunteer hatchery worker during the fall Coho run and might go back to school for a Fisheries major.

Also enjoy reppin' the Pitbull breed with my two awesome dogs and might start attending shows....yeah I said Pitbull you got a problem with that???

My dvd collection is getting huge, but I can't post a pic cuz of copyright laws

Photography is also something I might be good at, dunno never took a class but it's not hard to take amazing pics being surrounded by beautiful scenery.

oh, and I've seen some big a$$ spiders around my house, so I think I'm gonna start a bug collection...just don't know what I need and am deathly scared of spiders! To me they would look better dead and pinned to some cotton...

I just got back from fishing some 30 odd miles off the coast with a few of my friends this weekend. All we caught was a bunch of king macral (no idea how to spell it) that no one wanted.. cause you can't freeze if for ____. Not a hobby really, rather a trip to celebrate a friends birthday. May turn into one, as drinking in the 2-4' swells is amazingly awkward.

What guns do you own? I have an AK and a Sig 229 .40. I recently sold my shotgun too make room for what I want next.

Also as per the spiders. Number one pest control is definitely brake cleaner, don't let Raid tell you differently.

^Sounds like you had fun! Did you take pics?

When fishing I carry a .22 Beretta Cougar. I also have a .38 snub nose S&W, and '50s Police issue Ruger .357 (when out camping) revolvers that are for 'in house' protection. My fiancee uses a .40 Sig for work and that gun is so much fun to shoot. Definitely want to get a shotgun in the future, and a rifle if I decide to hunt this year. LOL, I only know one other chick around here that enjoys hunting.

So I design wedding dresses, not for myself but for others. It is something I recently decided to REALLY pursue and put out publicly before it was just scetches I kept to myself.

The first dress I actually have been asked to make completely is for a good friend but she wants to look like a hoochie for her wedding. wants it literally open in the back as low and close as I can get without showing crack. Low enough for cleavage in the front and tight around her butt. ...

I prefer to create classic, classy pieces. oh well lets just hope it looks good so people ask who' design it is and I get more work out of it.

Sorry I realize it super girly and you guys are all into bikes and big screens...cool though my BF is that same he is into bikes, mod-ing his eclipse and stuff like that...its cool.

With the rate of divorces and re-marriages designing wedding dresses is definitely a great business to get into.. cause we all know most men would be too jealous to see their new bride in the dress she wore at her first wedding. Be prepared to ball.

The AK is definitely fun. And it can shoot the cheapest ammo you can find, so I buy bottom of the bucket and typically shoot better because I'm not ____ed it cost so much. I can't say it's necessarily practical for home defense, because of the damage the rounds cause and it not being as versatile as a hand gun.. but neither is a shot gun. When they say these things take a beating, it's not a lie.

I'd love to race carts, but even on my pocket bikes I forget that I'm going 35mph and wreck because I don't think it will hurt. So I can't imagine that I wouldn't take a cart in to a wall more often then not.

Overall my wrecks on pocket bikes have hurt worse then my wrecks on motorcycles... but everyone I know who races absolutely loves it.

Mountain biking, still working on the learning to surf thing...(coast is 2 hour drive so it doesn't happen all that often)...watching formula 1....

Things that suck up my time though....working, family, house and yard work....not that any are bad but these are what frequently come before the other things I'd like to be doing.
