The only time I have ever had a problem with a cop was this a-hole was telling my my exhaust was to loud. I have had it checked with a db meeter and it is WAY under the state legal limit. I asked him if he knew was the what the decible limit on cars was, he had no idea and let me off with a warning. Here is one other thing to add which has gotten me out of SEVERAL tickets. When a cop asks "Do you know how fast you were going" tell him. They are usually so floored you didn't feed him a line of bull cacca that they will let you off.

big suprise his own LT said he was a f***in psycho, who was back from psychiatric suspension without pay, only back on for 3 days when he threatened me

im not saying dont speed, but dont be ____ed off at the cop that pulls you over, they'd perfer to not have to pull you over..its there job.. i have no beef with cops whats so ever.. im glad they are out there doing there job.. im kinda of tired of people blaming all there problems on the cop.. and as the previous person said.. if you do get pulled over, and just be honest with them.. or in my case i made a joke out of it.. "you know why i pulled you over?" , "cause im a freakin idiot" ..the cop liked that.. i know i was speeding, and he knew it too..

Usually when they ask you that they do not know. If you admit to speeding good chance you will get a ticket.

thats bs, you can get out of a ticket easily if you ask to see the reading on their radar/lydar gun, if they've deleted it then they can't legally right you a ticket

if they can't prove on the scene that you were actually speeding they have to let you go without even a warning, and you can ask to see it for proof

Most traffic cops in vegas that pull people are certified to tell the diffrence between some one going five over and someone going fifteen over. Keep in mind most traffic cops spend all day watching for people that are speeding and if you take your ticket to court because they dont have it on their radar gun the Judge will laugh you into paying the whole fine.

Also they arent here to catch people that are speeding the are here to help save lives. The cops in Las Vegas and I mean all of them are all starting to enforce the speeding laws to the maximim amount because the amont of teenagers involved in fatal accidents were racing . So think of it as them saving your future kids and dont hate them for it.

Of course asian people who get robbed from owning carryout, groceries and liquor stores are second class citizens. The suspects never really get caught. The cops always show up late. Half the time they don't care. So who cares what cops think. They can lick my flashlight.

The dad was instilling fear of the uniform in the boy. The cop took offense to that, because many folks think that kids should be taught when they are lost or in trouble to look for that uniform. It's not a bad idea to tell you the truth, however, I prefer the adage of teaching my boy to look for a woman with a kid first in that situation.

scionofPCFL is right. We want kids to NOT be scared of police officers.

Another thing, no matter if this man was a police officer... just saying some stranger is going to do bad things to your child, is just rude. Did that dad ask the police officer that he was going to use him as a disciplinarian for his child? Or how about saying "the doctor might stick you with very long needle" because a child is acting up is not only not helping your child feel comfortable at the doctor's office but you're making the doctor out to be somebody he never asked or desired to be... an awful person.

^x2. It doesn't matter if he deserved it or not. It was wrong to point at a police officer and instill fear in a child. We should teach our kids to fear going to jail or prison, or ruining their future. It's not the cop's fault people commit crime and get caught.

I've never gotten a speeding ticket, the only time I was pulled over for speeding it was in the middle of a speed limit change and I had cars behind me...right after I had gotten my liscense. The cop was cool about it and just let me go.

Another time we got pulled over was when my friend was driving home from Philly and had to ____ so he was going about 85it at about 2AM. When the cop asked him why he was speeding he said "I normally don't speed, but I really have to ____ bad" and showed him an empty 32 ouncer from 7-11. The cop just laughed and gave him a warning.

I've always wanted to just start running as soon as a cop sees me.

A cop stops at a stop sign, I'm standing at the corner, and then look at him and mouth "O, ****" (so he can see) and just start running until he tells me to stop.

think i could get into any trouble?

& get my friend to video tape it. and do it no more than 3 or 4 times, and i'd almost be guaranteed some big paycheck for police brutality. plus i'm white, so i would go into the court assumed innocent.
