I don't think that that is the normal snacker sandwich they sell out at the local KFC!

Just what is that they put on top of the chicken in this sandwich?

 

dude, it looked medical, like skin grown in a lab with bbq sauce...kinda freaked me out a bit....

 

looks like kimchee (preserved cabbage)... may take funky to some it looks pretty good.

I kept expecting it to crawl off...

I've had some good kimchee (fermented, spiced cabbage), and I've had some that is pretty vile. Depends, but that might be OK.

The sesame sauce looked good, though!

 

imo... "good kimchee" doesnt exist....lol...its all BAD ....yucky stinky... and all those other words a 3yo would use to describe something they dont like.... lol

 

I will admit that my first brush with kimchee - in Korean "C" rations while in 'Nam - made me think that something had died in those little cans, but much later I actually learned to like some varieties. It's easier to stomach than some of the fermented fish sauce of Southeast Asia...

 

Yuk is right -- So do they put sauerkraut on it in germany? Stewed,boiled,fermented it all sounds bad.
