I left off my metal and punk tunes...You’re all too young to know them anyway J/K. But bands like Uniform Choice, DayGlo Aborts, GBH, The Uprise, Minor Threat, Big Black, Pagan Babies, (old) Metallica, Anthrax, and Black Flag weren’t all that popular in the “80s Crowd”.

Metallica was selling out everywhere since the early 80's...without radio play, but they weren't HUGE yet to the mainstream music fans.

As for 80's punk, I'm all about it...unlike much of what is considered punk today(though there are a few really good bands now).
