rise against is pop punk rock
punk is more along the lines of sex pistols, ramones the clash etc.
street punk is more along the lines of antiflag, casualties, the virus, blanks77, cheap sex etc
oldschool hardcore punk is along the lines of minor threat, TSOL, Black Flag, bad brains, circle jerks

While Rise Against certainly isn't any of the genre's that you listed off for whatever reason, since nobody said anything about them... it certainly isn't pop-punk either. It's not The Clash, but it's hardly Fall Out Boy.
