Hey everybody, well im in the market for a brand new t.v. im still stuck with my old ugly "Flat-screen" Symphonic t.v. well what i was wondering is the Flat-panel t.vs are better, or a projector with a big azz screen on my wall?? and also what is better 1080"i" or "p" ?? i dont know the difference! like if i decide to get a screeen, i want to know what to look for, "i" or "p"

1080P is better. I think projectors vs Flat panels is personal preference but unless you're going to buy a HD projector, just get the flat panel IMO

1080p is better. The "p" means progressive scan while the "i" means interlaced. There are TONS of articles available on line to explain what that means, but P is much better.

As for the Projector vs flat panel thing, I personally feel that a good LCD flat panel is the way to go, but it depends on the application. Projection has the advantage of size, but that's about it. If your setup will be in a room with almost any natural light at all (windows), the quality and sharpness of projection will be diminished greatly. Plus you need a huge blank space for the screen which isn't always possible depending on the room and other furnishings. A good LCD TV takes up less space, offers a beautiful picture in nearly any lighting, and doesn't require as invasive of an installation. So if you're building a theatre in your basement, go projection. If you're putting it in you're living room, go LCD. Just my two cents.

hey everyone, thanks for your inputs, im going to be putting this into my bedroom, living room has an okay t.v. but im getting this mainly for my video games.. (xbox 360) and i have some natural light coming in, but i have some black, i mean BLACK curtains that when fully shut my room is like unable to move around in.. without a lamp on... but aighty p is better..... ...... anything else i should know? anyone recommend a certain model that is AWESOME with video games? ... even a projector that is awesome with video games? anyway let me know, im sorry for all these questions, i just dont wanna go to a best buy or anywhere like that, and ask em tons of questions and not end up buying it right than and there, i wanna know from all your input first before i go anywhere, THANKS!!
