We had a tremor in Illinois a few weeks back. The end of the world will come when we don't expect it.

They normally don't hit populated areas very often. Just coincidence that the 'big one' for 2009 and 2010 were so close to each other. If they hit a few more times then something might be going on like a slight shift in the poles. This happens constantly but every few hundred thousand years a significant change occurs. The earthquake in Haiti was the initial bump that several Geologists believe was what the Earth needed to make an axis change. Several theroists believe the 2012 disaster is going to be a full pole reversal. There was actually nothing to give proof to this, it is all speculation; until Haiti which reported a larger than normal change.
