There's a lot of ettiquette that is being passed up on... I like to bowl... and people do not understand how you must wait your turn if you're in a lane next to someone.......

There's also dinner table ett. and best of all, movie ett., which no one seems to know

I noticed that too at the Ames show. There were some kids that didn't know how to behave at a show. I hate it when I go back to my car and see fingerprints all over below the windows where they put their hands and leaned into the car.

I thought I was the last non-league bowler to know that . It is so distracting. I'm trying to teach my kids the right moves, but it isn't easy when nobody else follows them.

Thankfully I never caught anyone in or on my tC. I got buttloads of scratches all over my hood and doors though from morons whipping their doors open in the parking lot at work. If I ever caught someone doing that I'd lose my frickin' mind. They'd prolly have to drag themselves home...

SOOO true. adults , teens , kids. no one knows. when my girl and I go out and bowl every other night it's a constant battle to find a lane away from EVERYONE cause no one follows any rules at all. let alone all the ghetto guys hitting on my girl while trying to drunkenly bowl while not waiting their turns next to us... argh!!!

This is a problem of whats happening in America...and its much broader than just people touching our cars. People are forgetting manners and public decency all over the place.

I don't blame "immigration" but rather ____ers not learning english.

We really need to get on that whole "national" language thing.

Hate to jump in on this but it has nothing to do with race or langauge for that matter.....because i see all different types acting like fools and not showing any respect for anything....

This is society as a whole and media, tv, movies, and even music play a bigger role then people can even imagine......i remember the days that saying sh*t and Dam^ were big deals for tv and shows like Growing pains, full house, happy days, brady brunch etc. helped teach family values and were still entertaining.....now what do you see....flip on MTV and even local channels nowadays
Its all about who is sleeping with who, dumb rich girls, dumb rich parents who let there dumb rich kids run rampide(sp), sex, drugs references which are way out in the open...may or may not be intended for kids but like i said thier not watching the Disney channel thats for sure

And music has changed alot as well....I remember when a song had few curse words that was crazy....now every other word is being bleeped out...(unless you got SAT LOL)...i still to this day dont feel comfortatble cursing in front of my parents yet my sister (who just turned 21yrs) has no care and curses as she pleases with little respect....drives me nuts

Seriously parents can only be blamed 50% because who you hang with and what you do is the other 50% and considering the way society as a whole is it isnt pretty....showing respect is a joke anymore

People who touch my car without permission lose limbs. Thats the bottom line. I was at a parking lot meet last night where a kid leaned on my car and I F'n lost it on him. I feel bad about being within 3 feet of a strangers car just because I dont want the owner to get the impression I could be trouble. The "hands behind the back" walkaround is a good sign of submission. I put that into use a lot....

I use the hands-behind-back method a lot.

Two weeks I was helping my sister move. Her husband had just gotten a job as a youth minister and several of the churchgoers were there as well. Well one guy started leaning on my car, putting his hand on my spoiler. I didn't want to say anything rude or anything unfriendly as these were good people, and quite the country folk who were all driving beaters.

Solution: Hit the panic button, blame it on the alarm.

The guy was shocked, and said "But all I did was put my hand on it" I said "Sorry, it auto-arms and it's pretty sensitive."

Problem solved.

"But all I did was put my hand on it"
appropriate response: "Exactly."

I know, I know, and had it not been a member of my brother-in-law's new church (where he is a minister) I would have just said something, but in this case it was a lot easier to just blame the alarm.

Who else remembers when the only show that ever had bleeps / bleeped-out cussing was South Park? Now I can't watch an hour of TV without hearing censored language.

i used the panic button a few times to scare people at work who were just walking by me car to smoke.... i was across the street and 5 floors up (good range for stock i thought)... only hit the panic button when a certian person walked by... was funny as heck....got them like 5 times... 2 when they were goin to/from smoking and 3 when they wanted a closer look at my car(just got it) didnt go off on the 5 others with them.. just that one person... had 1/2 my floor laughin there **** off

anyways... i'll have to use the panic button at smaller shows if things get carried away... big shows the bat is disconnected need a power supply....

This topic is the best ever to rant!!!!

--Best ever situation,<--sarcasm (I'm one of those people i hate going to a crowded parking lot, i absolutley will park 3 miles away if i have to, I will walk as far as i need to!!! )
So there you are at Target you park in the very back of the parking lot 10 spots empty on either side of you, you get out, walk 10 feet and a soccermom and her 12 adopted kids in her huge excursion pull into the spot next to you, all 6 million doors on the limosized SUV slam open, and your precious tC whimpers at you.....
this is life everyday for me. Damn you pathetic ignorant american society, damn you!!!
