My SL brothers and sisters, I am trying to advertise a house for rent and I wondered if anyone knew any good places to put the listing. I posted the listing on Craigslist along with all the details and a couple of photos, but I don't know where else to put it. I didn't get any calls yet anyway. Anyone rented out a house before? I can't find any other free sites. Where do people normally look when they are looking to rent a home, aside from Craigslist?

You could try the newspaper *gasp*. Oh yeah, and since you're new to it, go rent "Pacific Heights" it should keep you up at night. You consider using a management company for it? Might save you some headaches

 

if you make your own flyers, lots of places with community bulletin boards will let you post them. try gyms, churches, YMCA, club houses. local school campus's.

or do some walking with a pack of papers and a staple gun, post them around town.

i think i heard of a website called "roommates.com" or something like that, might be worth looking for, since you can maybe find people looking for a rental in that area.

anyway, good luck, and don't become a slum lord.

 

I figured everyone does this stuff online these days. The newspaper seems so old-fashioned and inefficient.

Was just wondering if there was anywhere else. I've had two interested people as a result of the Craigslist post, but nothing has happened yet.
