a close friend of mine lives there, and im thinking about moving there, but i dont know that area at all, (cause i live in California).. i need to know whats around, cause i need to get a job up there.. please help (my current job is aftermarket autopart sales). wouldnt mind something similar..

 

Well, we have some members out that way. It's not really that far out from the city.

around the begining of summer, after june.. i dont know if i can move til i know i cant afford it.. cause i still have expenses out here... like my car payment..

 

I would definitely rule out finding a job in actual Chicago because that would be one hell of a commute. Look in the west suburbs (St. Charles, Bartlett, Batavia, Geneva...) and see if you can find something.

That far west, housing won't be too expensive, at least nothing compared to closer to the city.

 

housing situation is already taken care of.. just need a steady income..

 

You could always get in touch with some of the local tuner shops. One 6 Motorsports, P&L Motorsports, Area One Motorsports, etc...

 

just an update.. havent left california yet.. but looks like i will be moving there around June or August. but I will still need a job.. i have some ideas and offers. But would like more choices. Anyways members in this area. expect to see another scion (with cali plates) in June
