You remember sticks and stones. well that's actually not true at all according to history. Things add up, and this site was not intended to offend fellow Scion owners, but that seems to be the ownly way those who are jealous can cope after comparing their own rides. Everyone cares about someones opinion, or cars in general would not be modified. KillerX, I know we "should'nt" care what other people think, but why else would we attend car shows? Realy.

 

True, go is go. But 230whp? What do you have with your supercharger? Even crank that might be a little high. I know trd ranks the supercharger at 200, but i haven't seen a dyno with a 2az with only a supercharger dyno above 190whp, i know people claim higher. But on average i've seen 182-188whp. Which would be around 220hp. Not trying to start some huge debate, just wondering.

At any rate, 1 is low and i agree, even if i dislike what trd puts out. But, you have to remember, people have opinions and you just have to learn to deal with it. Getting offended just means the other guys have won, causing you to question what you have, or feel like crap for what you own. I mean to be honest, the tC is a nice car but i hate the 2az motor and i perfer much lighter cars. Thats me. Does that mean i'm going to give a tC owner crap? No, but others are going to because they are more of extremist. It makes them feel better making others feel like crap.

Just live your life, do what you want and be happy. In the end, thats what should matter. Life is too short to have friction cause you misery.

 

Don't sweat it. No matter how nice a car is, it will get hated on.

 

When I'm flipping through the gallery looking at cars, I give everyone a 5 just to get to the next one.... I guess that's just me.

 

My personal fav is the "hot girl with a stock tC" getting '5' votes. Just because she's hot doesn't make her STOCK tC hot. Another I like is when peeps give high scores to others with fugly body kits. I myself am not a body kit person. There are some nice body kits out there, but most of them are fugly. I just recently updated my pics in my profile and now I have a ton of '1's. So you know what I did? I deleted most of my new pics. If peeps can't appreciate the hard work we put into modding are tCs then f$%^ 'em. Lastly, I know for a fact that if you put somebody in their place or correct their inadequate infomation they will get back at you by rating you low. As long as we know what we've done to our tCs, that's all that should matter.

BTW-I'll give you guys '5's if you want me to.

 

i have the same problem alot of people say they like my xb then all i got was ones its not that i really care just find it funny that i good comments and crappy votes

 

ya ive got all sorts of ones, i dont really care though, im sure ill get lots more after posting this. I agree it should be changed cause alot of them times it repeats the cars ive already voted on, what a joke.

 

mod for your self......who cares what other people think? everyone has there own personal tastes.

 

We all brive boxes for Pete's sake!!! We all have different tastes. But lets face it, most people outside the Scion community would give us all a 1. I don't think I have EVER pushed a 1 on somebody--why would anyone do that? For the most part this is a pretty supportive website and people appreciate that. Don't let the few haters get you down.

I just took mine out of the gallery as I don't care what others think of my box. What is important is that I like it and I didn't mod it for anyone to vote on I did it all for myself.

 

I had posted a thread about this before too. I don't really care what people think of my car, but I thought it was funny.

I have noticed that if I disagree with people I seem to have the 1 needle rising. Who cares. It's just bitter people doing all that they can do. Hating.

 

Ok, I must have not made it to this section of the site, but Even stock doesnt deserve a 1. I have seen cars with bumpers put on with drywall screws and crappy spray piant and brush on paint jobs that deserve a 1. My car has nothing more than some Scion alloys that I bough used and XM and new stereo and speakers. I put my hard earned $ and time into that and im happy so far. I also threw some LED lights under the dash. I did it I like it and I did it right, no rigging. You should be the same way and apreciate what you did and screw what some of these idiots who have nothing better to do but put someone down because they might have something "A LITTLE BETTER". Besides, you could be driving an Escort?

 

^^^ Well said but who is to say that the haters who dish out the 1's "might have something better"? I have talked to and met a lot of the guys with the top rated boxes on here and everyone of them I have talked to has been friendly and very helpful and I would seriously doubt any of them would ever pass out 1's for any box on this site. So when you do get a 1 it is most likely not from one of the haves it is probably from one of the have nots.

 

Yeah, I think you are right also. Probably some of the guys or girls who pass out the "1" mark probably doesnt even own a Scion, or is just trying to skip to the next pic like stated before. I just wouldn't take it seriously becase they probably dont have anything better and if they do they are just putting someone else down to make themselves look better. Exactly why I wont even bother with that business.
