Why do guys put a hot girl as their avatar?

Wow, ask a simple question and get four pages. 
For those who are wondering, I am married. I actually got the xB because of my wife. She's disabled and needs to use a motorized wheelchair. It was painful for her to have to get out of the chair to ride in the front seat, so I had the xB converted.
I still don't get the model chick thing, it's kind of like having a GT-R or a Ferrari as your avatar. You don't drive that car, why would you post using it. The same logic goes for using a model when you're clearly not dating her.
I really wasn't trying to troll, beer and women are good, but it's situational. Beer = bad when you're pulled over for speeding, and you married guys should know that women can be bad when they're not your wife.
