Driving the xB yesterday home. I'm sittin at an intersection waiting to make a left and two guys drive by in the opposite direction. driver yells out the window "ugly!!". Why do people have to do these things? He's driving a busted Explorer. Same thing happened to me with a guy driving a late body Escort. Boy, people in Chicago must have better taste in cars than even me I suppose. Must these guys show their lack of ***** by yelling stupid crap at me? Or I bet they have small d!cks. Yeah, that's it. On top of it, I was looking for some info for an 06 GTO and I came across a guy that had an xB he traded for his GTO. It's nice to see he was laughed at by the rest of the forum for even owning an xB. What's the point of making fun of the guy? I like my car and he liked his xB. Oh yeah, Those GTO guys are not any smarter either. I was looking for info on speaker sizes in the car and what some guys have been doing. I have a customer that has one and we'r edoing a reallt nice stereo in it. Out of eight pages of threads, there was ONLY one thread that mentioned front door replacments. These guys are only changing out the rears and adding subs. WHy put better rear speakers than fronts?? Do you drive in the back of the car??? none of my cars even have rear speakers. do you watch concerts with your back to the stage???? geez...

 

yep ppl do dumb things, just like the other day, my friend was driving on the freeway, then out of nowhere a car full of guys drove by my friends integra, flipped him off, threw a rock at his car and drove off...

down to automobiles. Just ignore anything negative cause
it's about YOU and not them.

And JDMJim, your xB is one of my favorite xB's out there.
Keep up the good work and I'd like to see what you will

I'm not too fond of the xB style but hey, that's just my opinion. To all their own. Make your car, whatever it is, your own and be happy. Isn't that most important?

Yeah, I've had someone drive by my truck I had and threw a rock and chipped the lower edge of my door panel. I was ____ed but was smart enough to get their tags. What's even better is that my brother-in-law is a cop and sent them a citation for vandalism and a court ordered appearance and fine of 200$. I was there and they didn't look at me. It's funny but when people get caught doing something stupid, they never look the people in the eye they did it to.

I had a little kid throw a hand-sized rock and my tC but it bounced before it hit, luckily, and hit the side skirt. His dad was out there (he's 6 or 7) and grabbed him by the shirt and beat the ____ out of his ___. I laughed as the kid ran in and the guy was decent and gave me 50$ out of his wallet for paint. My gf's brother does body work so I got a free 50$

 

I know how u feel man, I get that all the time, I mean not to brag but i was the FIRST SCION in my town and eveyrone was like thats such an ugly car and its so stupid looking, and they always pointed and laughed! well theyre still doing that, but all the peopl that were calling my car ugly and funny looking, THEY ALL HAVE XBS now.. its so funny, its like "I started" the trend but yeah, it gets VERY VERY annoying alot of the times, its like why point at us and laugh when your freakin drving in a multi colored aveo, like red hood, and purple fenders, and blue hood, and green door handles, with no rear window, it gets sickning sometimes.. but yeah i know how u feel

 

I wondered if there were some Scion owners that didn't like another design of the line up. I guess there is.

 

Jim, I don't like look of the xA but I'm pretty sure the xA owners don't like the look of our square, boxy cars...

 

I returned a lease on an 2004 GTO and got straight into my 2006 xB. I'm a member of both GTO and SL boards and i can say that most of the GTO people are genuinely good folks. There are some who are a little too gung ho and bash other cars but i've always had an interest in cars and i tend to respect that very same interest that someone else has. Even if it was, say, a 1987 Yugo. It doesn't even have to be modded, if someone really cares about the car and it shows, i respect that.

 

Jim, I seriously dont like the look of the tC, I mean I like the fixed up ones, but when its just like SO PLAIN and so STOCK, I think they seriously look like that Pontiac car, i mean it looks like it in the back, from far away I was all "Look theres a tC" and got closer and it was the Pontiac G6...

 

I have had the same thing happen to me, some kid in a beat up ugly a$$ bronco drove by and yelled "F U! That's ugly!" I let him go and laughed when he passed due to his tail pipe dragging on the ground.

ooooooooo what year daytona? it better be a 1969 daytona! with a 440 or even better a hemi!

 

my Daytona will need a rear drive conversion to fit a Hemi. I need a turbo II motor.

 

ya people are just jelous and its sad, if they want soething nice like we have then they need to work for it if you know what i mean, building up your car cost money right? anyways i always get that hand jesture of being small when people pull up to me and want to be a$$ holes, you know the one with the thumb and pinter finger. usualy im wearing my bad a$$ shades with my windows down and i look over at em look at the light and look at em again. thats the jesture i make if they want to see how lil my car is hahaha. ya i race its no thing im safe about it, but after i whoop the friggn living ____ out them they wont pull up to me at the next light or even while driving the lag behind and thats satisfaction enough that they made a call on someones car and that car destroyed theirs.
