I made PRO status on Bowling and Boxing last night. I was pretty excited. Unfortunately for me due to financial trouble I will be selling my Wii tomorrow when I have time to list it on Ebay. It was fun for the few days I had it though. I'll buy another one when I can afford it along with a new television...

Aww Joe that sucks!!! :-(

I will say though that NFS is really fun! It took some time to get use to turning the controller!

But well worth it! I actually had one reserved at gamestop but hey, why not get two I thought

ok what's with the boxing though? It was all easy and I was dominating and then after like the 5 guy or so my right punches weren't working I had to beat him with my left only! Im hoping I just got too into and didn't realize that I was standing way out of the sensor area! :D

the Wii is really nice but for a next generation system they couls have stepped up the graphics. in my opinion they look simmilar to the original xbox graphics.

That's the thing, though. From the get go, Nintendo stated that they weren't out to compete with Sony and Microsoft as far as new snazzy graphics were concerned, they were going in a completely different direction with innovative ways to play video games. The higher-ups at Nintendo said that the processor wasn't that big of an improvement, only about twice as powerful as the Gamecube. If you were looking to buy the Wii for the best graphics around, then you'd probably be in for a disappointment.

i only bought cause i didnt get a ps3 and i bought 9Wii's and tried to sell but didnt make any profit. i kept one and im glad i did. but i also knew nothing about the wii so thats why i was shocked as to why the graphics didnt change much.
but well worth the money.

Wii is just the most amazing thing! I have Excite Truck, Zelda, Red Steel, and Rayman, and, of course, Wii Sports. But what really matters is this: Every person who has any contact with it has fallen in love with it! I think Nintendo made the right move by focusing on making a system that would be innovative, useful, and most of all FUN TO PLAY for EVERYONE instead of trying to play the "graphics" game. Well done!

Now, if you have a Wii and you are online with it, add me to your friends!
My Wii console # is:
0108 4367 9777 1301

PM me with your number so I can add you, too!

question.
i was thinkin bout buying a wii jus to put in my tC.

since the games are based on ur movemet with the controller, would it be hard to play games inside ur car? like if u were sitting in the front or back seat.

ex. would that effect the way u bowl in the bowling game?

basically, is it worth putting in a car. will? sitting down affect ur gameplay with this new controller?

you guys are making me want one. i thought it was the dumbest thing ever at first and when I played it in the store it seemed really hard to play tennis...maybe once they are readily available I will grab one and become a wii'd head like you guys.

I'm Officially a Wii-Tard.

Playing Wii Sports while sitting - defeats the purpose of the games.

But the driving games should be pretty okay, I guess... Especially if you tape the controller to your steering wheel .... lol
