As with any brand new program, there will be problems that need to be fixed. There will be patches for any problems that occur with Windows Vista. Microsoft is working on it. I guarantee it. I have never had a problem with Vista. Not once. And if I ever do have a problem, it is always fixed next day. No worries. If you have any problems, let me know, I will help you out.

yeah when it came time for me to get my laptop, i specifically requested XP Professional instead of Vista... I mean sure, in a year Vista will probably be perfect, but at that point i can just buy it in the stores. good luck with your issues

I have Vista Ultimate on my new Dell laptop....

I love it. The biggest problem with the OS is the fact that there is still not a lot of software that has passed the M$ 'digital signing' process due to the fact that M$ kept delaying the software.

One thing to note, Vista is very resource intense. You need to have a good video card, lots of RAM, and a decent CPU to get all the benefits of it.

Microsoft doesn't need to get much together. You need to open your mind a little more honey. Maybe you shouldn't watch so much p0rn on your computer....trust me...it will work better and faster...and no viruses!! Think of that!

since its a new laptop with vista i'll bet that its the 3rd party software that loads on start up is what is causing problems. delete the programs and take them off the start up and you'll notice a difference.

Just keep in mind....watching p0rn is neither attractive (in fact it's disgusting....sitting there all alone watching something you can't have, that is itching with diseases, while touching yourself...) or good for the computer.

And in 2 years Vista is going to be replaced with a brand new OS. I'll stick with XP.

To the original poster, just keep dloadin those Windows Updates. They'll fix the glitches.
