directly underneath the tools menu, there is a views menu. There are a bunch of ways to change how they appear. I think thats what you are asking.

EDIT: Nevermind, just re-read it more carefully. You could still try changing it using the views menu. Might work. Sorry i cant help more.

LOL...I'm glad I saw this thread. I may need this info. I just built a new computer and I went with Vista because I didn't want to spend $1,000
only to turn it on and have it look exactly like it always has.
I wanted something new and different. So far I'm really glad I chose Vista.
I haven't had a single problem and I like many things about it.
Since I built it from scratch I made sure all the hardware was 100% compatable.

I beg to differ. I've been an adopter of Vista since last February. I have Vista Ultimate now running on a laptop and a custom white box. I have had zero, nada, zilch, none, no problems.

People complain about Vista and say that it's slow. These people are putting it on 3 and 4 year old PC's. Or, they aren't looking at the specs when purchasing a new PC. Someone buys a crappy $400 PC from Dell with Vista on it and complains that it runs like crap. Well guess what, three years ago they were doing the same thing for XP.

People just like to complain about Windows OS's. I'll agree it's not perfect and has it's quirks but it's no where near the Win 98 ME that people make it seem to be.

And lastly, Mac OS-X is not perfect OS they claim it to be either...

EXACTLY. Vista runs great if you have the right specs.
XP is sooo 5 years ago.

^^ yup true.. people look into requirements and realize their system meets it.. in that case they are looking at the minimum requirement for it to run.. what they need to meet is the recommended/ideal specs to take real advantage of the OS

The only problem with that, is 99.5% of computer users don't know how to change a CPU or add RAM, so they're stuck with what they have. Then they get a new computer that comes with Vista pre-installed, and within 3 months of horrible Windows auto-run crap and presintalled software, the computer slows down so much. I've been a PC user for 10+ years, building, fixing and modifying them, then I got a Mac and was wondering wtf I was doing for the past 10 years.

Let me ask you Mac users a question: How often do you run into software compatability problems?
I would love to try a Mac, but my wife works from home a good bit and she needs to
use MS Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Adobe CS3.
The files she creates and works with need to be compatable to other people at other businesses. Is that a problem with a Mac?
